    Missionary only?

Years ago there were lots of divorces over "husband turned homo" within a few weeks of honeymoon. I wonder if they were connecting vigorous foreplay with the "unnatural" practices in the bible.

We voyeurs would like details on 69(thanks vidiot) and abhorrent.

Was the ever blessed David an explorer or a wham bam guy? I'm jealous.

my teenage fiancee / pioneer partner and i quite often indulged in soixante neuf. In Those days so long as you didnt go " all the way" it was just a matter of conscience. It was only when we were first married--on honeymoon attending a district assembly that this "toying with immorality " became a thing. Lots of red faces around.

carla: "AND NO, Christian churches do not have these discussions around children"

BINGO! I've spent nearly 50 years in mainstream Christian churches* and I don't ever recall explicit and graphic detail of sexual acts being mentioned from the pulpit. And remember, most kids leave the main service halfway through to go to Sunday School or Kids' Church**, where they receive age appropriate teaching and craft activities.

    * Anglican, Presbyterian, Baptist, Independent Fundamentalist Baptist, Open Brethren, Uniting Church, Church of Christ, Various Pentecostal denominations. Even non-mainstream sects I've attended, like Christadelphians and SDA never aired that sort of thing in front of kids. JWs seem to be unique in this regard.

** In my experience, most of those featured teachers who were thoroughly vetted and supervised.

My first two weeks at Bethel made me choke on breakfast announcements and "new boy talks". Fred Franz "lets talk about the Bible" in the sauna with no clothes fests were a no go for me.

I grew up outside San Francisco and thought I had heard it all....until Watchtower HQ. lol.

I' ll let someone with a Masters in Psychology explain the focus.

How did Bethelites find out that this sort of thing was happening and not question their life choices to date? You obviously did!

I can say for sure that their publications brought oral sex into my notice. In fact when I first read it from their publications, I find it hard to wrap my head around what it is all about.

I agree that indeed the religious organization do psychologically induce and suggest people into abhorrent thought
