Steve2: But isn't it a little premature to call it a success? I couldn't tell from your intriguing post the number of times they have returned.

As my post stated, I have been trying to wake them up for over 8 months now.So they have been coming back quite a bit .When they come back, they bring research that they have doe on topics by way of a reply to my statements at their last visit. So I know they are listening and changing /opening their minds to other info outside of the cult. Their demeanor during this period has been changing and they are becoming more open to conversing things with me now than before when I started. Whenever I notice a right time to mention stuff, I have done so but never with a view to 'teaching them,insisting and proving that I am right'. A person has to prove to themselves what they want to believe in.One can take a horse to the water, not make 'em drink it.

Also Steve2: I am not looking for a badge or star by calling it a success. I meant success in that I have got two more to start thinking outside the jdumb world , so success in accomplishing that alone.(english is not my first language so at times I may not be conveying things properly,sorry)

Brilliant Zing, you must really care about your friends to put in so much effort.

Activism does work we know because people who leave tell us it was because they looked at YouTube videos and websites including this one.

We don't all like the same people and we can choose who we watch or listen to online now because there are so many ex-jws out there doing great work.

Thank you Xanthippe . The day I can help my family (all PIMI) to leave the cult that will be my true success for me. At the moment none of them know I am POMO (my circumstance is such). All is honky dory, rosie for now. How long for, cant say???

I normally record all my conversations, my calls etc .Its an app I use which come on automatically unless I switch it off.

So did Richard Nixon. Turned out it wasn't all that great of an idea for him.

DesirousOfChange: I know that recording things is like a two edged sword...kills both ways.As much as it is a protection, it also leaves one a victim relying on the circumstances. So far i have seen the benefits of it and I am glad that I have the app.It has helped me out of pickles with Boe's when they have lied to me, or try to frame me wrongfully. Anything otherwise ,I have yet to wait n see.

All in a days work n all that!
