"Information about the new Watchtower Campus, ready in 2027"

2027: the end isn't imminent? At least, not for another three years. ๐Ÿ™„

NotFormer: excellent point, as if they didn't count on the fact that the end is very near indeed! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Eleven of the buildings on campus will utilize Mass Timber construction, displacing thousands of tons of carbon-intensive concrete. When complete this site will be the largest Mass Timber project in North America.

...I think they forgot - they didn't tell the architects that there is a text 1 Cor 3:12-14: โ€œBut if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble; each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it isโ€ฆIf any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire.โ€

I would rather use reinforced concrete or stones in such a "building"...but if Jehovah doesn't build the house, the builders toil in vain, don't they?๐Ÿ˜Š

They may have been required to use certain environmentally-friendly methods in order to satisfy the local township, perhaps? I recall that there were some environmental concerns that they had to deal with when they were preparing to purchase the land.

    ThomasMore - โ€œIts a red herring,,,โ€

Like you said in another thread a while back, a silt fence around the property means nothing.

When they start pouring concrete, weโ€™ll pay attention.

I'm sure they will have first class gym facilities for themselves while they deny sports participation to millions of their own youth in their schools.

    Hypocrits.

Gym facilities would suggest they give a shit about actual physical health.
