The Society is Blocking Research On their Web Site

    It seems, you can not research many of the older publications on Society's web site anymore. For the obvious reasons, that they don't want people to go back and read about all the false prophecies, changing guide lines (new light that became old light that became new light once again) and the just plain stupid stuff they have said over the years.

    I not quit sure what publications they have blocked. So how far back can you research the Watchtower and Awake magazines now and what books have been blocked from view?

    Any help would be much appreciated...... thank you.

    I thought anything before 1980 has been eliminated on jw.org.....They don't want to rehash the lunacy of 1975, their stand on transplants, old light new light. Their insisting that the 20th century would not survive Armageddon etc. higher education is a waste of time etc.

    The good news is you can still find most everything they don't want you to read....on line.

    The older (subjectively speaking) publications are found at the Watchtower Online Library page. Go to the JW.ORG homepage and scroll down to the bottom of the page. The link to the library is found on the lower right hand corner. Click on the link and you can do research from there. Printed books and AWAKE! go back to 1970 and WATCHTOWER magazine back to 1950. I could find nothing previous to those dates.

    They dont want people to realize the organization isn't being guided by god but by corrupt lying men, indulged in self empowerment and business $$$

    To have an illusion of spirituality or godliness you have to create an psychological illusion of that agenda to keep people lured and locked into that acceptance.

    There has never been anything before 1950 WTs and 1970 Awake. You can check online using some of the suggestions given here. At one time they did drop publications before those dates but recently re-added them. The WTS has said that when an older publication is replaced with a newer one, the older one is dropped.
