First off, I have made it real clear with Jw's my thoughts on being a Jw. I'm out, there is no coming back.

Second, I'm on their " Do not call list" .

So why now all of a sudden my mailbox is getting bombed 💣 by their memorial invites and letters?

Don't they follow their do not call list? It's getting ridiculous how much mail I get from these Bozos.

Your lucky! I have never received so much mail. What a waste of their time. I don't even respond to these morons because as soon as they get that phone number, they'll blow that up too. And if you reason with them they either run away or tell you they will get back with you. It depends on what you say. But when you start questioning their core beliefs, they will call you evil and run for the hills. I just don't want their mail or their crap.

Oh, I might be able to think of a rea$on. 😉

Didn’t you reveal here that your family has a business and you are economically successful and drive a nice vehicle? Hopefully, I don’t have you confused with another poster here.

If that describes you, then word must have gotten around on the JW gossip circuit. They would love the pleasure of your ‘association’ 😈. Hence all the letters and invitations.

Longhairgal- I think you're on to something there. They see my life successful ( yeah, right!? I got troubles too.) Family business. An more and likely they would like see some of that cashflow go into the Watchtower 's bank accounts. Let's invite Brother So-So and Love Bomb for the Loot and control.

Or- some Jw's would like a piece of the action? They will have to get in line and do what I do and I find most people want the money but don't want to do the work.

There is no hand out here. I wake up early and go to bed late. 6 to 7 days a week. Most people are not up for the challenge. Especially Jw's. They want easy money.

Yes, no doubt this makes you more attractive. In this world you have to be mindful of this.

I’m sure other inactive people might also get letters and invitations to come back to the JW religion. However, you can bet your bottom dollar that somebody who is succes$ful is more sought after than somebody who isn’t. That’s just the way it is.

As a longtime "fader" I have simply ignored the hand-written letters which encourage me to "return to Jehovah/congregation."

No doubt the personal calls will resume when the "Black Plague" subsides enough for the ministry to restart.

The do not call list is only as good as the volunteer servant handling it and the little old lady writing the letter. If they are not just using a city directory which has no information.

I get loan offers, house offers, new church in the area, charity all the time. Easily thrown away.

Wait until they resume door knocking, then it will be worse. I know, I was territory servant once and got yelled at for not having the secret elders (I wasnt) directions on the do not calls. Funniest part was after a hostile person made a scene they sent 2 elders back to apologize. One a pushy type, the other too dim to catch on to body language

You could write NY and ask them why the congregation isn't following the 'do not call list'. Isn't the 'do not call' a rule of sorts that comes down from the gb/org? if it is then those jw's are running a head of the org and not listening to mother! I wonder if you named names if those people would get marked or something?

I have written NY in years past and the letter(s) do actually make their way back to the local cong/ elders and actions was taken against a jw, that was my experience anyway.

Or write them back and bring up the pedophile problem, doctrinal issues, court cases, etc.... and that is why you are not coming back.

Or, just file it all in the recycle bin and feel bad for their sorry life in the jw's.
