    HI Bradley,

If you can, call me at work tomorrow afternoon, say around 2 PM or later. I want to talk with you before Thanksgiving. Thanks, Jim W.

Does it make you feel better to do so? If so, why? If not, then why use the term? Craig

I have found, after extensive field research that saying the S word doesn't quite do it for me. I am much more satisfied using the F word. The F word just feels good. While using it I feel simply Fabulous.

This thread sort of took an editing left turn didn't it?

Bradley I never felt good about being a dub. I was born into it and never believed it. So leaving was for me mostly a relief. I would have left anyway after leaving home if my parents hadn't left during my senior year of highschool. I went to meetings only out of respect for my parents. I'm certain now that if I had pushed not going they wouldn't have really forced me.

Maybe this is one reason I don't have nearly the dub baggage that so many others have. I figure that makes me very lucky.

Sorry Craig, I was just being sheeplike here and following the thread tone. I won't mention that word again.

Craig, it turns out that "shit" is what we cunning linguist like to call a "shrickative", which means a word that gets (or gains) power via the "sh" sound. Also, it means poo-poo-ca-ca, which has rich imagery for humans the world o'er. Modifiers such as "horse" make it especially powerful, and lend a certain shape and depth and even "home-spun air" to that which is being dis-cussed.

Brad, I know from where you speak, as every now and then I have to smile at how great the world is when I'm in it, lol, but I know only too well exactly how I got out, cuz it was a painful process.

.....and I promise to steer well clear of Brads threads. So long as that silly F S stays out of mine.
