Earthmeasured, believe it or not, what is wrong in your thinking is that you imagine that the Bible is God's inerrant word.
From a scientific point of view this premise is as useless as a lead balloon.

If the Bible say the Earth is flat, this means that it is flat. And it is not difficult to believe this, since I dont feel the slightest acceleration that should be present in a circular movement
Truly your brain is astounding! By the way acceleration only occurs with an increase in the rate of speed.
If the earth were flat, the centre of gravity would be at the centre of the disc and therefore everything on 'discworld' would be pulled sideways by gravity toward the middle axis and not toward the ground. We would have to sleep vertically with our beds up against the bedroom wall in the direction of the world's centre. . . The edge dwellers would be spinning at some speed and the central disc dwellers would be going round slowly in small circles. Like I think you are.
Please tell us something about yourself and how you have been able to put aside common sense and have come to believe such an idiotic idea.
yep--the earth is most definitely flat. i live on the underside.
Gravity as intended by newton doesnt exist. There is a vertical force not radial but only vertical generated by the ether and not by the mass. A circular motion generates acceleration even if it doesnt change speed. This is because acceleration is generated also by a change of direction
so--what happens if you travel to the edge--the perimeter ?
Where are the compass points on a "discworld"?
Have you ever travelled across continents, over the polar route? How did Magellan sail around a discworld?
You are truly welcome to believe what you want, but try evidence for the basis of your beliefs. And all the best with the disfellowshipping.
OMG, getting popcorn.
@earthmeasured: Do you think we have an accurate measurement of the earth’s radius - that is the distance from one end of the circle to the “central” point?
Also, I missed the flat earth scriptures in the Bible. Can you post them?
