  I learnt German at school and have remembered some of it.

  Both your German sentences read well to me, processor.

  It's the English sentence that seems a bit clumsy - it would sound better with 'and' instead of 'but', IMO.

  My mother tongue is French and although German is not my mother tongue I would translate as follows :

  "Ein reifer junger Mensch sollte sich nicht einerseits im Königreichssaal wie ein Freund Jehovas verhalten, und sich andererseits in der Schule wie ein Freund der Welt verhalten."

  * the extra word was "junger", so Prologos is 22 too, la racine de la langue de Moliere would add 5 more.

  added: a stronger expression still would have been to use "niemals" instead of "nicht"
