The new Caleb video is much In line with the thought, of encouraging FAMILY's to consider structurally donating money on a monthly basis as was announced to the congregations in May '19

Caleb is now encouraged to set setting money aside from his pocket money and a regular basis.

All donations are meant for the "worldwide work" when various sources including JW .org, have been reporting the closure and/or merger of Kingdom Halls worldwide.

Printing and/or publications distributions are practically closed down, with rumours of the monthly magazines Watchtower and Awake also being made obsolete after a Century!

So what do Watchtower / JW .org really need the money for?

joey jojo, the WTS is going in that direction, public WT/Awake only 3 (4?) times a year and no date on them, truth never expires, right?

The WTS has stopped printing the simplified version of the monthly WT study articles.

The service meeting and the school have changed so much that many ex-jws and faded ones would not recognize them.

More attention is being spent on carts rather than the d2d.

Maybe some people can see where the wind is blowing.

Re: Watchtower magazines being made obsolete

It's a rumour that has been going on for a few years now.

But lately I am hearing this from bro's and sister worldwide now, that I still have contact with.

Some of them have contact or connections to the head offices and the 'rumor' is now taking on a form as if this is actually going to be the case soon and going to be announced that per 2020 the magazine will no longer be published.

However, this already falls in line with the comments of the GB.

I will try to find the quote....... Our mum is/was 50 years sister up unitil very recent..... I will ask her.

When you say the Watchtower will be obsolete, you just mean it won’t be in printed form any longer? I can’t imagine Sunday meetings not having a Watchtower study. It would make sense if it still was written, but only in online format.
