Thanksgiving Miracle

  Awwww Sheila & Thunder I'm SOOOO happy for you to have him home for Thanksgiving! Believe me, I know how precious that is.

  My son will be here for Thanksgiving, but has to leave again Dec. 8th...I'm a little sad just thinking about it, but so happy to have him here now. You can relate to what I'm saying, right Sheila? And there are NO words to describe how proud you feel when your son comes walking out in his uniform, and everyone turns their heads to look at him, and many smile at him, stop him to shake his hand, thank him for serving his country.....and you just look on and smile and think to yourself........................

  THAT'S MY SON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Stacy: I am so glad you have parents that understand, Bug, Think your sooooo right, just watching them with pride. I don't understand the parents that can't get comfort and satisfaction in watching someone that is HAPPY and confident and know that you in a small part helped that person to be not only on this planet but to be that person they have become. I love Girlie Girl and hope with every fiber of my being that they grow together and stay together. I just made him breakfast he modeled his new sweater that "called to him when he entered Gap" LOL and he is off for dinner at GG's grandparents I will have Mel, Mak, Girlie Girl and Ant (Thunder of course:D here for dinner and of course anyone that wants to drop in for dinner.

  Today I came the closest I've ever come to cooking. I shoved the turkey in the oven. I'm afraid of the controls so mom had to touch those. She did some number things and turned a dial. It's all mysterious to me but I know I"ll eat really well in a few hours.

  Sheila, Thunder and family. It is so wonderful that you are able to be together for the most American of all holidays. Tell your son that the Thomases are very glad we have young men like him serving our country.

  It has been good all around. A member of our family came home form Iraq, someone had spoke wiht him recently from Baghdad. Indeed a great deal of happiness all around. So happy for u, Shelia. Happy TG.
