  You've got to wonder how JWs process this sort of regularly occurring information when their own website, JW.org remains silent about it.

  Yet, every time there is a development in Russia threatening JWs "freedom" to worship, JW.org will trumpet the news far and wide.

  This is an organization that clearly considers itself outside the reach of secular authorities - even concerning its response to allegations of child sexual abuse.

  It's quite a legal tour-de-force to be able to get this even considered.

  - We want to look into how you handle known pedophiles

  - But we have the religious freedom to deal with pedophiles how we see fit

  - No you don't

  - That's discrimination!

  This shouldn't even need a case, the judge just has to pose the question: What other religious group has the right to NOT report pedophiles under UK law?

  Sounds more like the legal defense of one of those cults where the leader has all the child-brides in the compound.
