My reading of the comments is that elders should tell the wife about the fact of adultery but not about the details

Oh now you can read things clearly 😂😂😂😂

Look it says the elder will tell the wife her husband committed adultery just no the details of what went on. The important thing is that if the husband fucks a cow or sheep that’s fine and none of the wife’s business!

But can you read the writing on the wall, for Watchtower?

Can Someone tell me where in the bible it says if a husband or wife have sexual relations after one has committed adultery that you then can't get scripturally divorced?

It doesn't, but you would probably encounter the basis for the idea in a formal course on ethics.

If for example, an employee commits an offense that merits termination, you either discipline them, or terminate them immediately. You do not hold it over their heads for a week or a month or a year. Even in a right to work state, that would justify an unemployment claim, because it is unethical to use somebody like that.

Marriage is not a perfect parallel to employment, but the same principle applies. If you spouse breaches the marriage compact, you either forgive them or begin the legal process of ending the relationship. You don't continue to enjoy the benefits of their company while holding it over their head because it's unethical to use somebody like that.

Holding it over someone’s head would be wrong. But other scenarios are possible.

In a normal relationship, without JW rules, the wife may continue to sleep with the husband in the hope that their relationship can survive, but discover within a few weeks or months that they cannot remain together. In this scenario no one has held anything over anyone’s head, they have made a genuine attempt to remain together. The only problem is the price the JW now pays for separating is to remain single and wait until they become “free to marry” if that ever happens, through no fault of their own.

I think the method of not revealing the exact nature of the offence to the spouse keeps them clear of any lawsuits that could develop from the operation of their kangaroo court system and a guilty verdict for one of many Watchtower corporational crimes. Also could avoid the elders being called before a judge to give testimony about their verdict and how they arrived at their conclusions and what not.

..the wife may continue to sleep with the husband in the hope that their relationship can survive, but discover within a few weeks or months that they cannot remain together.

Does this mean the couple mutually decides the rift is too deep to mend or does it mean that one party basically says, "I'm sorry, I tried to forgive but I just can't"

If it's the former, I'd definitely agree. In a normal relationship outside of JW rules, the decision is not necessarily unilateral.

Let me add another twist to this... its not uncommon in jw marriages where infidelity has occurred for the “innocent” partner to withhold sex for a prolonged period of time as punishment, keeping the mate who cheated a hostage. Its all so twisted and legalized. The church has no business deciding these matters even you accept their right to judge an adulterer. The continuation or desolution of the marriage isnt their concern, but here they are with a list of overly rules and scenarios governing it.

So the adulterers wife is not told and if she wife succumbs to VD from him? what is the elders stance then?

In my day, if he refused to confess to his wife it showed that he was not repentant. He would then be d.f'd.
