It could be worse, you could be all alone for Christmas....When I had my frist x-mas, I had no body at all....Sat there all by myself x-mas eve and day....If you have only one person, that makes it special...Once you get the tree up, you will feel so much better....

Sheila, thanks for your invitation, love to, but we just put the tree up and decorated it.looks quite lovely. So we decided to celebrate Christmas at home.

I am sure, we won't be eating turkey, but a grilled chicken is'nt bad either.

Christmas blows. No offence to chirstmas lovers, but I hate this holiday. Yes, it may have its perks - unites family, but in my case, this is bad. I just dont like to celebrate birthdays, chirstmas holidays, new years etc. New years maybe an exception, 2 new years ago - I had an argument with a group of friends while camping up in the hills, SO, I left them and hung out with 3 lesbians. Good times, I still dont talk to my friends I had the argument with.

Viv, no need to hibernate. If anything, I wish I were in your position. As blondie said before, ask friends from work etc to go out with you. Definately go out, do not stay home - kinda depressing (only if your the only one home).
As for me, I want to work (rake in the big bucks).
I really hope you work things out.

Last year my dad took us to Christmas Dinner at a hotel on the Beach, I think it was the Hilton or Hyatt. It was so good and they had a harpist who played little lullabies when my daughter would stand in front of her. Teryn had her playing Twinkle Twinkle and Mary Had a Little Lamb so many times!! The food was excellent and the hotel was so beautifully decorated. I usually don't like buffets but this was the most awesome I have ever been to.

I spend Christmas alone every year... I dont mind it at all. I have the "friend" with me who the celebration is supposed to be about...It is so peaceful just me & Him ( His Father comes too & they bring their helper the HOLY SPIRIT!!!!( ducks!!!hey thems rotton tamatoes you chucked
