There also has to be a lot of older ones that are about to die. This will make the numbers in the USA plummet big time essentially since I believe most older jws die off sooner then the national average to do being poor etc.. The joining of congregations will help to hide these missing ones as well.

Not around Midwestern, they live well into their late 80's and early 90's. I have found that it tends to follow the death rates of non-jws in their area, based on gender and financial status.
