Here are some items you may want to file under " Their paper trail condemns them"
What the Boys in Writing put in print you could not make this stuff up EVEN if you TRIED---- now let us begin.
First off -we start with why you should put your trust in the GB/FDS/Slave/ BOYS IN WRITING

So we see that they say they can be trusted since they only use Holy spirit and the bible- being that is the case notice what they say next:

here we have a group of guys who claim that they rely on Divine directions and the bible yet what we see is a flip flop In dogma
FIRST THE BIBLE says no number - then it does and now it doesn't
which is it
so for any Loyal JW – it is and always will be the WT own Paper trail of teachings that change as often as I Change Drawers that will continue to be the best example of why their claim of :

I encourage all jw to do the research for yourself – when you lay all the wt dogmas on the table at the same time it is very clear that while they may try their best- ther best ain't good enough esp when they make the following statements:

to any jw please, please do your homework- as I have often stated go to sites where there is no commentary like here and just read the history of the org from their own publications and you will see a clear patttern over the years one of
say this, change that and blame you and I for believing it in the first place
since you are already here in this site in violation of wt rules then why not go to a site and do your homework

I live in the DC are where HI TECH is the name of the game-
just before i stepped aside the CO discussed at length the problem that our territory was presenting to the pioneers
they were losing bible studies like flies
they could get them but couldn't keep them- reason why THE NET
thier family friends and workmates would download a ton of wt stuff off the net that they would raise issue with the pioneer the following week
and as he put it the friends would have a Fit since jw are so trained on how to handle "apsostate" material
the catch was as he explained to us is that the material is OLD WT PUBLICATIONS but the only thing the jw knew was it was printed on
81/2 xll paper not in a publication
of course the study would see the jw freak out and wonder WHY
why Can you show me stuff about my church - yet you run out the door when i show you something
so he told us to let the bro know NOT TO FREAK OUT but to try and calmly answer their questions and better yet - let them know we will cover that later int he study CAN YOU WAIT???
OF COURSE now i fully understand why IT IS SO IMPORTANT that we instill in them the acceptance of the FDS and once that happens then it is all moot
SO THE NET has been a very serious problem in our area- not so much for the jw learing and leaving ,but for for who are thinking about joining the jw
recently the paper showed that in some areas they ave 1.2 pc per household- we have 5 here in our house
2upstairs- 2 on the mainfloor
and a NT Server n the basement
so the net and technology will prove to continue to be a major problem for wt in the yrs to come

James, may it be as you say in growing numbers everywhere.
Once, when I wrote a WT expose' in the Creative Loafing in Atlanta, GA, someone noted that the circulation was only thirty something thousand and that I couldn't "outpublish" them. Well.
Yes, the Borg publishes millions of WTs and Aw a month. But think about it. The vast majority of those magazines are purchased by the JWs themselves. And then the vast majority of those are shitcanned, are left in phone booths, left lying around in malls, hair salons, the bottom of bird cages, seafood stores, and other creative places. Anything to get rid of the damned things. They're NOT read by non-JWs. Not the vast majority of them.
The Internet, the World Wide Web has done more than we possibly could have imagined just a few years ago to help us in our effort to rip the cover off the Borg and reveal it for what it is.
We should help get and keep the interest of the press in topics like the Borg's coverup of pedophilia; its mysterious use of money; its destruction of families; its undermining of governments; its violation of basic norms of justice; its central role in the death of tens of thousands of people over the blood and other health issues; and its incredible, unmatched hypocrisy - UNMATCHED.

i think the net will be a big help for both the JW's as well as the studies to see that the organization isn't quite as it appears at first glance. i don't know about any one else, but when i first visited "apostate sites", i was expecting something different. i thought i'd read outrageous lies and false beliefs ' instead most everything i read i already knew, it just took someone else to articulate what i already knew. for example, the lack of love in the congregation. everthing is right under the JW's nose but its like you dont know it , but when its pointed out ,you know its true because you've witnessed similar experiences. i've been reading my "reasoning from the scriptures" and i see it through different eyes. i don't think a study could really appreciate all the information here like a dedicated JW could. the web can help a study recognize that the organization has faults but i think these sites do more for a JW, we recognize that its more than faults , we can see it as a cult.... i'm probably not making any sense, i just had a few drinks....jurs

I so totally agree with your statements from my own experience. I at first stayed away from websites even when I was reading Crisis of Conscience and getting my eyes so opened just with that. I trusted that info because it was from Ray and what he was saying was so logical and put forth so humbly but I still thought that what I would find at so-called "apostate sites" would be obviously lies and twisted "truths".
When I finally visited a web site, I was awe-struck at the info I started reading of the 'flip-flop' doctrines and the seeing things they said all pulled together in subjects to be able to compare. Especially reading what they taught before 1940 opened my eyes. The Proclaimers book only touches this by saying that in it's early beginnings they were just young as an organization and made a few mistakes but soon God directed them and corrected them, and we all fell for that.
I have no access to these pubs. myself, so to read what they were so-called "directed by God" to write back then made my jaw drop in disbelief. It became so obvious that God would not cause them to write lies to mislead us for awhile, only to cause them to "get new light" and change and then "get new light" again and change back to the first thought.
It feels so good now to be able to have this info at my fingertips via the web and my hat goes off to all the writers who are dedicated to inform all they can about the misguidance and abusive control the WTS had misused over the years and the skeletons the WTS has tried so hard to hide.

That is so true for the ordinary JW. Sometimes it takes getting hit over the head with something to get our attention, then, bingo...all of a sudden the pieces start falling into place and we see the big picture.
The beautiful service these info sites are doing for us is to pull together all these little pieces of info we've read, or seen happen, or experienced...whatever...and help us to be able to analyse the whole thing.
My first gut reaction to all I have found out in the last couple of months about pedophilia, misuse of funds, skeletons in the closet at HQs, the info on blood that the ordinary r&f like me is kept in the dark about, and how widespread the disruption of families is due to df'ing and shunning and much more...was complete and utter shock. Now I applaud all who join in with whatever info they can provide to further educate all who visit these sites for whatever reason.
I truly believe the web will rock the very foundation of the WTS and whether it causes it to crumble or to completely restructure for the better...I don't know yet. I only feel that only good will have to come to the basic r&f.
