When I was in the org it seemed most brothers were very much into football and other sports. Which looking back makes no sense and makes me wonder why? It felt like an overcompensating to be masculine.

    Shouldn't football be deemed unchristian?

How many JdoubleU's watched the fights on Netflix? I watched the special and thought it was good and entertaining.

Is boxing and MMA viewing forbidden for JdoubleU's? What are the consequences for a JdoubleU who openly is into these sports. I found an article that said professionally doing it is a DF. Nothing about spectators

all these violent body crunching "sports" should be banned.

During the 1960's I watched a lot of boxing, Cassius Clay (as he was then), Henry Cooper, Sonny Liston etc. Then we had a WT article or assembly talk that said such violent entertainment was not for Christians. I was still at home so had to it up. Same with wrestling, 4 pm Saturday afternoon with Kent Walton.

I guess the Human Species has made a little bit of progress.

It used to be Gladiator fights to the DEATH, as spectators filled the Colosseum and shouted for the death of one of the contestants.

Now it's just punching and kicking to Near death.

The Mexican fight was great. One of the best I have ever seen..

The Jake Paul Mike Tyson fight was pathetic. I don’t think Mike Tyson threw more than 12 punches the entire fight.. it literally looked like Jake was trying not to hurt him.

Do you think Tyson is just too old to be fighting in the ring anymore?

It seemed to me like either Tyson didn't train hard enough or once you hit the 50s maybe 40s it's all over. Me and a bunch of my friends were looking forward to seeing Tyson knockout Jake Paul in the first or second round and were very disappointed on the way Tyson could barely keep up.

If that's what it means to get Old........then it sucks.

    Here's Tyson at 19 years old fighting a guy that's 6' 7" tall

Ditto it was just a money maker.

The opening fights were really good though.

I see it as a controlled outlet for human aggresion.

The only reason I posted this topic was curiousity as to JWouble U's and their stance on being a spectator.

My group of young brothers in our 20's would have been totally in to it.

Paul and Tyson just played a money game.

The other fights were good and real I felt.

Jake Paul is reported to be making around $40 million for the fight, while Mike Tyson is estimated to earn about $20 million.

Not bad for 8 ---2 minutes rounds.

The real money is not in real jobs, like Doctor, Engineer, etc.

The real money is entertaining people.

No wonder Celebrities, sport jocks, and musicians are millionaires and Billionaires

The President of the entire United States only make 350k a year which includes all the headaches the come with being the President.

That's kind of crazy. No wonder most people are losing it.
