The JW belief system is so flimsy you could knock it over with a feather. That is why ‘they who cannot be criticized’ tell everybody not to look at so-called apostate sites for fear your faith will evaporate like the morning dew … LHG

The JDubs belief system is more fragile than a soap bubble.
I think Dubs are scared of ''apostate'' material and websites because it's just been manipulated into them.
Remember, the Society NEEDs it's followers more that rank and file need them. That's the underlying, mitigating factor here. What would really do the Society in is a ''mass awakening''. Probably the PIMOs are growing all the time.
The Society has to ingrain that ''fear'' of apostasy more than ever before. It's the Society who relies on the Dubs for monetary support and the free labour. I'm sure people would survive if the Borg didn't exist. The Dubs don't need the Society, it's the other way around.
Because apostates are "mentally diseased" and JWs are afraid it's contagious. The Governing Body told them, so it must be true.
I was raised being told how apostates are so smart and cunn8ng their lies will knock somebody out of the faith. Even hearing a few words can ruin you. I always thought if they are lies then truth can easily defeat them.
Yeah. They're ''mentally diseased''. They are terrified of catching a contagious ''mental disease'''. Which could actually be the 'truth' about the 'truth'. Ironic, indeed.
Jobos can't argue their corner because their beliefs are deliberately messed up to cause cognitive dissonance they don't know what they believe.
I came to the conclusion a long time ago that loyal JWs aren't actually scared of "apostates" 'cause they think they're wrong...
...
...they're afraid of "apostates" because they're scared they're right.
I had to think the ''unthinkable'', agreed, that maybe the WT was wrong, and the apostates may be ''right''.
That critical thought has to come into play. It's best to come to realize this, slowly, instead of your whole life being deceived. It is quite a ''realization'', may take years, and years to realize the ''unthinkable''.
