I was just wondering if any of you have any stories about unexplained mysteries, like seeing a UFO, or anything that you would consider unexplainable.

    Please share your stories.

I saw the Ogopogo. We lived in the Okanagan in BC for quite some time. One morning, over breakfast, our family saw him. We lived near the lake and had a huge window overlooking it from our dining/living area. Some try to say it could have been a boat, log, school of fish, etc. BUT it wasn't. We were all in awe, and I'm just thankful that there were others with me when we saw him. We looked at each other - like... did you just see what I saw???? Crazy. I had never really believed in it until then.

I was in bed one night, reading. I turned the light off to go to sleep, and saw a pale green foggy thing drift across the room, and back and then vanish. I ran to the light switch and wouldn't let Dave turn the light off for a long time. I have no proof of what it was, but it freaked me out. It was about a year after my cousin had died, and I had been reading a Sylvia Brown book and thinking about her (Sharon). Maybe no connection, but I made one in my mind.

    I saw the Ogopogo.

    What is that?

When I first moved to the Virgin Islands in the mid-1970s, I befriended a man who lived in the same apartment building as I. He was a strong believer in reincarnation and the metaphysical. He was also a close personal friend of my employer. One evening, he knocked on my door and asked me to join him on the porch with my boss, who was visiting at the time. She rarely came to the store where I was working in their jewelry department, and this was the first time I'd ever met her.

As soon as we were introduced, her eyes grew wide and she said "I know you". I explained to her that I'd just moved to the island, and we'd never met before. She then proceeded to ask for my birthdate. She nodded her head, and told me to meet her at her office as soon as I reported for work the next morning.

I reported to her office as requested, whereupon she proceeded to go into a file cabinet and pull out newspaper clippings from the 1950s, all pertaining to a man who had managed her jewelry department back then. He had become despondent and, according to the newspaper obituary, committed suicide -- one day before I was born! Until she passed away, she swore I was the reincarnation of that man come back to St. Thomas to complete my job working in her store.

I don't necessarily believe the story, and I am a skeptic about reincarnation, but the coincidence is remarkable.

(PS) I do also believe I once saw a UFO while visiting my great uncle in Baltimore in the early 1960s. I was a small child at the time, and the memory is vague, but I can think of no logical explanation for what I saw in the sunrise sky.

Mulan - weird. That happened to one of my siblings. Exactly the same thing you described. She told me about it, and I believe her.

Which book did you read? I've read her "The Other Side and Back"... very interesting book. Out of all the "after death" theories out there, I hope its reincarnation. That one appeals to me.

Ive seen several "UFO's" in my life but I just explain them as secret USA plains or weapons. I really cant believe that God would make the same mistake twice in creating something as stupid as us!

One night while working late in Manhattan in the upper west side by Central Park North I saw a black thing fying in the sky. It did not make any noise and had no lights, just that it was a full moon I saw the outline of it, looked like a big bird with the wings stretched out.

And obe night here in Orange County NY I saw a streak of light pass over me and go West real fast, think it was a meteour or something.
