The Aussies and Brits gotta thing for this 'thing' they call sport....HA!

Last night, Saturday, December 6th - was a game to remember.

HOCKEY

Toronto Maple Leafs versus, the Detroit Red Wings.

As you know, Toronto more or less had their way with our lovely Motor City hockey fans, down the road , and we won another gig against Detroit.

This isn't the first time either.

Aztec, don't feel bad. We feel your pain. When it's the NJ Devils, we almost go ballistic. Although, when Montreal plays Toronto, that's guaranteed to be INSANE!

It could have been worse Azzy: it could have been those horrible Avs.

Toronto, beat Detroit last night.

Hands our Michigan friends, tissues and crying towels.

**PS: the score 5-2 for Toronto.

It was a GREAT game, even if Aztec IS doing the sackcloth & ashes thing right now!

I's just sorry this is the only regular season meeting between the Leafs and Wings! Hopefully we'll meet again in the playoffs!

In the meantime, I'll keep enjoying our well-deserved victory!

Don't worry about it too much. The few times that the Maple Leafs actually win they need to brag about it. Imagine if you tied your shoelace right after 1000 tries... wouldn't you feel excited? I sure would... let them have they're cake. Ha ha!

Oooooh Shamus, you're asking for it.....LOL! Last I checked the Leafs were in first place in their division. The Wings are too but, not if they keep this up. Argggh!

I'm hoping the Leafs maintain this into the post-season. I'd like to see a Leaf-Red Wings series in the playoffs!

Oh, and DUCKS are meant to be roasted with an orange glaze and stuffed with wild rice. They have NO BUSINESS in a hockey arena!
