Clickable Link Function

HI Simon - The site seems to be stripping out links.

Can work around it by pasting the URL but it was neater to be able to embed the link in some text. Is it a temp glitch?

Ah, I found it - links to nature on the evolution thread, right?

A long time ago, while importing posts, I blocked some domains that came up with errors to prevent it wasting time trying to follow the links / images. It must have been a previously defunct domain at some point but since resurrected.

Unblocked.

I was linking to an article on Nature.com in Kate's thread and it all seemed to work but when I came back to the page the link code had all been stripped out.

Will let you know if it recurs. Cheers

The links to Nature have been fine but Kate and I are having a problem linking to pages in a thread. If you see our recent posts on the L/H molecule thread then you will see a couple of examples.

On this note, is there going to be a way of linking to a specific post?

Thanks for sorting this out. I actually suspected Simon was blocking it, that's why I was suspicious. But he was blocking it for different reasons anyway, so I shouldn't have shown needless credulity.

I suppose I am completely not trusting as opposed to gullible. I need to develop more balance. I left WT in Nov 2013 and it's surprising that I haven't really fully recovered as I thought I had. Being a JW is still impacting me today.

Whereas K99 is still in and doesn't seem to be affected at all since he woke up.

What? So you think I was intentionally blocking links that people were posting to things that proved your claim that you thought you'd discovered proof of god was crazy?

Why not "think" for a few minutes before you hit that post button. Seriously, think about what you are posting and ask yourself - does this make me look like a paranoid nut? Is what I'm claiming remotely plausible or make any sense whatsoever?
