Double Standards of the Watchtower

Are you aware of any double standards promoted by the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses?

Here a a few I am aware of:

    1. The WTS equated joining the YMCA with apostasy but felt free to join the UN for 10 years (1991-2001)

    2. The WTS warns its adherents not to receive any criticism about their organization but feels free to demonize every other religious organization on earth.

    3. The WTS instructs it's members to put their church's literature in the hands of others but to refuse any literature produced by other churches.

Can anyone add to the list?

The only reason that anyone has ever attended a university is to feed their own personal unrestrained greed and lust for fame.....except for the JW attorneys and doctors who serve at Bethel.

"except for the JW attorneys and doctors who serve at Bethel." maybe you are supposed to believe they do repent of their evil and try to atone by serving Jehovah

If Christendom’s followers commit a sin, like child abuse, it’s because “it’s Satans church“.

If Jehovah’s witnesses do the same, either it’s because they are “imperfect men” or because “they are not really true Jehovah’s witnesses“.

Does that mean paedophile priest’s are not really true Catholics or just “imperfect men”?

Yes clearly, people fail because they are people. Some people are better than other people, and some people are really bad. They are also good at using religion as excuse.

JWs abhor and detest the vile Babylonish practice of having "clergy". All JWs are ministers, there is no such thing as JW clergy.....

....Except for those times when the WTS is sued for criminal negligence in child abuse cases. At which time, every single word of communication between Bethel and the local body of elders is protected due to "clergy - penitent privilege".

Yes the Catch 22 on education.

If you listened to them and didn't go to college and went to Bethel they gave you the shitest jobs there.

    However,

if you didn't listen to them and went against their stand on "higher education" they rewarded you with a great job at Bethel.

If you don’t believe their teachings, and are raised JW, you should be shunned. If you are a worldly person, and wish to become a JW, and your family shins you, “No one should be forced to choose between religion and family. “

Vdh, despite the fact that church literature does contain correct bible understanding and wt papers do not, teach error like:

from 1929 - ~1962,during which time wt erroneously taught that the "superior authorities" are not the governments.

JW's can't do any work on a church, i.e. plumbing, electrical, painting etc, but good old Watchtower can sell a Kingdom Hall to a church. Blatant hypocrisy! We sold 2 of our Kingdom Hall's, in our area, to church's, years ago. Blood, sweat and the rank and files hard earned money went into both of them. Now....WT has all the cash!!!

No college education but we'll use all the Doctors, nurses, dentists, lawyers, engineers, etc. to help with our "kingdom interests." Biggest load of BS! WT will condemn you for attending college but they sure like to "use" your skills.

Why the JW's can't see this is beyond me!
