Great movie...and not exactly what you expect...One of my fave scenes is where he's getting naughty w/this girl...she kept saying "F me Santa" over and over again...*LOL* Definitely not a movie to take the kids to, plent of naught words and scenes, but real good fun in any case. Anyone else see it?

    Sincerely,

I loved this movie! My favorite part is when he was piss drunk and he ate the kids candy, then he passes out all the while that really sad christmas music was playing the background.

It shows that people are tired of the PC, and want more truthful, honest, crass movies. I'll always be there for these movies.

Piph and I saw it tonight. I don't think we stopped laughing the whole time! The Coen brothers are geniuses. And of course, Billy Bob Thornton always delivers.

    Valis,

How about Santa asking the little kid,

Things are a little *^&%#!* up in the North Pole right now. Mrs. Santa caught Santa Claus *^&^%* Mrs. Santa's sister, so Santa needs a place to crash tonight.

I guess I'm turning into a pussy. I just couldn't like this movie. I really really wanted to, it had such potential for laughs, but to me, the laughs were to few and far between and just didn't compensate for the bleakness. Sad isn't nearly as funny as bad.

Maybe it's having been raised as a JW; Santa never was "good" to me, so there is not that much built in humor in seeing him as "bad".

This isn't your typical Christmas story. At one point I got tired of the language but I kept laughing all the way through.

    Not a kids movie.

Yes, perhaps my reaction to the movie was tainted by my feeling bad for having taken a group of 7 year olds with me to see it. Why is 'you're not gonna **** right for a week' so funny to kids?

Stacy -- I thought I was going to see another "Bad Stacy - spank her" comment -- that is why I looked at this thread. Ah well never mind
