Dear GB,
Please remove any AED devices from your boardroom and your living and work areas. Don't want any liability issues now, do we?

So now they don’t want defib machines in KHalls because it shines a light on the increasing blood clots from the shots that they said were safeBased on this video and the information in the notice from the WT, how do you arrive at the conclusion that this has anything at all to do with the vaccines??? This is clearly a way to eliminate any liability if someone uses this and something goes wrong, like device failures, or someone recklessly using it, regardless of their intent.
With respect, its comments like this that makes people like me think anti-vaxxers are idiots. The trouble is, others will read your comment and believe it.
Heres some reading material:

Crooklyn is always looking to eliminate liability. No picnic tables at the Kingdub Hall.... liability. Kingdub Halls are not to be used as relief areas... liability. Book study in private homes.... liability. No publisher is a representative of Watch Tower or Watchtower or Jehovah's Witnesses... liability, each publisher is performing their own ministry as they see fit. No food service at conventions... no liabilty, And so on.
Scared of their own shadow.

There were not defib machines everywhere before the rollout of the vaccines

Maybe because myocarditis/pericarditis and heart attacks have increased exponentially to the point cardiologists are backed up forever. Word around is pacemakers/cardioverter defibrillators are the new 'in' product. No worries for the vaxxed -- now there's one device to cover both issues.

Surely the rise of AI and the availability of AEDs are not a coincidence! These so-called life-saving devices are in fact secret death instruments.

I dunno where you're living, but that's definitely not true here in the UK. For more than a decade places have been increasing access to them. For example, there are many old traditional British telephone boxes like these:
Now payphones are pretty much redundant, one of the common uses for them now is to house a defibrillator for emergency public use:
Here's an article from 2016 - increased use of defibrillators has nothing to do with COVID or vaccines: https://www.theguardian.com/healthcare-network/2016/feb/19/emergency-call-village-phone-boxes-could-save-lives-defrillators
It's much more likely that the increase in the need for defibrillators to help with cardiac arrests is due to health problems caused by the obesity epidemic that's been growing in many countries since the 1990s - especially the USA, UK and Australia for example: lack of exercise and unhealthy diets of people who consume stuff like 2 litres of Coke and fried takeaways every day!
As for WT, as NotFormer and joey jojo say, this move is about the usual aversion to any kind of potential liability that the Org is showing in recent years - they've taken similar steps about everything, from cancelling congregation-sponsored events and parties, to telling the JWs they're on their own if they choose to do cart witnessing.
Interestingly, in this case they even admit that's why in the elders' letter! Talk about bare-faced. Given the stats about how early intervention can increase the chances of saving life, they're basically admitting they'd rather a member of the congregation has a greater chance of dying, than that the Org faces a liability suit. As usual, the Org is not thinking with the heart, but the wallet.
Ironically, putting that in writing is more likely to make them subject to a lawsuit in future.
Also - we really do need to get over the anti-vax hysteria now. It's getting very old.

"Ironically, putting that in writing is more likely to make them subject to a lawsuit in future."
They rarely see the irony or hypocrisy of their stances. In this case, once again, it's breathtaking.
And as usual, they put nothing of themselves into it. Are there people in congregations who have an AED machine who don't know how to use them? Then train them, you morons! You hope that there might be people who know CPR who might help until an ambulance arrive? Here's an idea: why don't you insist that every elder and MS, at least, has a current first aid certificate?
Journeyman's correct: a lawsuit could well point to this letter and ask why there was no-one trained in CPR in XYZ Congregation on the day Brother A died of a heart attack. Actually stating that they are taking away lifesaving devices due to their fear of lawsuits may paradoxically create lawsuits. No congregant would probably sue, but a state or other government that finds out about this might.
This is stupid on so many levels, not least of which is taking away the congregational right to make their own decisions on how to look after their own people.
They probably see this decision as "prudent". I see it as just plain immoral.

Yes -- it's a taboo subject with so many dying. Perhaps check out more uncomfy sources for data. Some are reported weekly (in memory of those who died suddenly in the United States and worldwide, August 26-September 2, 2024). News by Mark Crispin Miller, Substack. There are others w/same subject matter. Let's just all ignore reality and sing Cum Bye Yah/Kumbaya.
