Oh and one more thing I was thinking. The main elder, forgot his name, just comes off as creepy, like a bad guy on a tv show about a cult. Same thing with the guy who comes in with his wife to give a report. They both look like 1950s Mr Rogers cult leader types to me. Of course that only my humble opinion.

What's even more scary about the Great Tribulation Movie is the focus on the attack on JWs, not the destruction of all evil in the World.

They've portrayed it to show that there is no protection for individual JWs, whether huddled in a group or not, they will be attacked. They will witness the attack, not only on themselves but their husband or wife and children.

Meeting in groups, keeping account of members, having secret door knocks, hiding in bunkers together provides no protection. The only comfort is being able to hold a meeting where you've still got to put your hand in the air if you want to say something and listen to everyone say how good they were pre GT as a JW.

But, really, if the “great tribulation” will be as devastating and destructive as the Scriptures indicate, is it possible for those serving God to look forward to its coming without fear and trepidation? 19 For these reasons God’s people have a deeper love and appreciation for Jehovah, and this, in turn, gives them a confidence free from any weakening or morbid fear. Awesome as the “great tribulation” may prove to be, these lovers of Jehovah are looking forward with eager anticipation to being eyewitnesses at that grand execution of divine judgment. How is it possible so strong faith is destroyed when a colleague gives you some tract? It is funny to see this double standard - when somebody starts to be involved with the borg it is usually in the same way - tract or magazine handed over...

I can't believe the authorities didn't wait for the secret knock response before coming in.

Seriously, that video is going to scare the bejeebus out of a lot of dubs. I know a lot of dubs that believe the the GB know more than they share and that the GB only give out information as it is needed. That kind of dub will see these videos as 'food at the proper time' and who knows how that will affect them.

This just feeds their fear and makes life even more difficult for those of us who have left.

Thanks to all who put up these vids ..

Having seen the full vids of the D/f'd daughter,and the basement Gt Trib production - all I can say is "How upbuilding and joy making will this year's Convention be?" . Since they view this as reality soon to happen It is not exactly cheerful, is it?

Interesting that they now openly use the word shunning ,"(Symposium) —Shun Unrepentant Wrongdoers" They used to use more polite euphemisms.

In the basement I could not help but notice how they also plainly referred to sins of negative thinking. A sin of thinking = thoughtcrime ....perhaps the next step will be facecrime!

BluesBrother, you are on to something with your "face-crime" reference - it wasn't SAID, but it was SHOWN in the video on the two faces of the brothers who were complaining and finding fault!!
