Yes, low cut shirts and sweaters were a must if you wore your lapel pin on it. Especially wonderful were the low cut tops if you were going to a regular meeting and you wanted the attention of the mike carriers.

I'll give them credit for a decent message though - "Give God Glory"
It's too bad they do not believe this and teach this in reality.
In reality......dubs DO NOT believe that anyone who gives god glory is exceptable to him. If you do not believe correctly, and are not associated with their Organisation.......your dead meat. The only "glory" they give is to their organisation.......because without it......your glory to god means nothing in their eyes.
As for badges.....being an Elder I had to wear one as an example. I hated the damn things, and was always catching it on something, and the card would fall out of it's holder. It took me 10 minutes to put the damn thing back.

I wouldn't use the "official" Society badge card holder. Like Gumby says, they scratch! I used a "worldly" one which was much more "user-friendly".
Gumby's right of course about the role of God in their theology. Even more alarming is that you would never read a theme that speaks of giving Christ glory!!! Now that'd really be somethin'!

I knew they had special pioneers, I didn't know they had expanded it to include "special" elders.

Yes, Czar, there are special elder badge cards which are usually worn inside the regular ones so as not to make too much show, but they are used to permit the wearer to enter into security areas. All department overseers and their assistants have them.
