Has anybody heard anything about this new store? [link removed]

According to Steve, an employee at the store, Tom and Nancy (owners) did a hostile takeover of this store from the former owners "Ministry Ideaz".

This is a big contrast from what the current owners "Tom and Nancy" say on their webpage:

At the begining of the 2018 year Ministry Ideaz decided to reorganize and simplify, focusing on their online business. Since we enjoy the business and meeting friends from all over the globe we decided to buy the store and operate it ourselves..

Steve told me that's just an outright lie. Tom and Nancy used scheming deceitful tactics to get the former owners, "Ministry Ideaz" to hand over the store. The former owners received nothing. Reminds me of what their own Bible says: "Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, plotting wicked schemes, ... lies with every breath... sowing contentions among brothers." (Pro 6:17-19)

Just another typical example of how J-DUB's treat one another when it comes to money.

Yeah, I guess it's a bit personal. I'm just a local who knows stuff and see things unfold. All this money-making off the Watchtower. I first caught wind of this on a youtube video.

In the video there is a picture of one of the owners with Gerit Losch. So I've been watching how it unfolds the last couple months. I've been having serious doubts about the Watchtower for the last few years. Seeing all this kind of stuff happen makes me sick. I know Steve personally but he doesn't know that I'm starting to go away as a "fader". But he tells me things. I signed up to this website under a psuedonym so I don't get in trouble from my elders.

There are two competing stores that sell Bethel souvenirs in this little town. The other is called "The Harvest Inn". It's like they're in competition with one another. It just reminds of Jesus when he threw the money changers out of the temple. Just another reason why I must find the courage to leave. I found your website and thought I would share my experience. If anyone has any advise for me, please let me know

I cant understand HOW a business like this is able to justify being in existence???

A store (or two) that have products JUST for JWs?? What town is this? How big is the town??

    Seriously? This doesn't seem right.

Sooooo.... how were the owners coerced into selling? Unless this was a mob shake down its hard for me to see this being something nefarious

I see this as a couple who have seized on this as an opportunity to make money out of exploiting members of a religion selling them stuff they don`t really want or need while appealing to their emotional attachment to the Jehovah`s witness religion.

Opportunists making money off of the gullible.

    just my 2 cents worth.

It`s not the first time JW`s have made or tried to make money off of their fellow brethren selling or promoting one scheme or another and it won`t be the last time .

Many years ago I had a good friend in the "truth" who got caught up in a "scheme" going around the congregations on how to lose weight.

He went around in a T-shirt with the slogan "Lose Weight ? Ask Me How"

The trouble was he had a 5 gallon keg of beer for a gut .

It was quite funny at the time.

There are a few of these pseudo JW businesses around which sell all sort of grossly overpriced JW oriented tat. Some sell on platforms like Ebay / Amazon - others have websites.

    https://www.pioneer-service.co.uk/

    https://www.ministryideaz.com/

And the one true golden rule in the JWs organisation is - "Don't do any business with another JW". I guess we all have tales to tell of being swindled in one way or another by another "brother" or "sister".
