A study of religious retention rates–that is, what percentage of people raised in a particular church or religion stay with it when they are grown–is quite interesting.

I`m surprised that the Mormons have 70% ? And the Catholics only 68% ?

No doubt the low Watchtower retention rate is because satan is working harder on those that believe the truth.

I didn't know being atheist is a religion. I just thought it was a group of people who don't believe in a imaginary friend. Still Totally ADD

Mormons at 70% retention? How old is this? I find that hella hard to believe considering the size of the Ex-Mormon sub over on Reddit. They are leaving in DROVES, far more than JW's even.

@WingCommander - It's from 2012. My guess is that the numbers are even worse for them now. A lot has changed in 7 years.

I noticed at the bottom of the graph it says info from Pew in 2008.

The retention rate for atheists is only 30% I don’t believe it.

How do they know about atheists, not as if they are really a cohesive group, not their style. Of course there is Freedom From Religion group (headquarters near me). Do they keep statistics?

The WTS will also say it is not the number of adherents that prove they are God's organization but then they will.
