How exactly would it work, sending confiscated firearms to Ukraine? Wouldn't that be much more time and effort than just sending them the money to purchase firearms? And that way, they'd get the guns they want, instead of a massive pile of dingy old .22 calber handguns and a bag of .38 specials.
If you live in Canada, they are taking away your Guns, to send to Ukraine.

Take a moment and copy/paste and google a few examples from the list and ask if you believe these are safe for your community. The need to update the list is due in part to the constant modifications of previously banned models to circumvent the law. The criteria for the ban have not changed. It seems reasonable to relocate some of these weapons to the battlefield where they belong. I imagine the ammo issue is a big factor however.
