Seriously, I hope (unadvisedly so) that a lot of the "Other Sheep" can see through this...show off how happy, safe and joyful you are outside when your former captors talk to you.

They seem to forget the dubs that are being tortured and persectuted because of the WTBTS around the world or the ones that murder their own family . Alot of the dubs I've known are head cases . How dare they make generalizations like that . I'm not in jail or have VD.

What kind of freedom is there in......jail?
True, if you are a brother they seem to protect you from going to jail. So is the KH a "place of refuge"? Remember all those articles and studies about back in biblical times when you "accidently" committed murder you could run to the city of refuge and be protected as long as you didn't leave? Perhaps they see themselves that way when protecting the child molesters, wife beaters and assorted other happy people that hang out in that happy place.
I once saw a "worldly" study showing that Jehovah's Witnesses were the religion highest in members that were seriously depressed or suicidal. So looks like all that Prozac and Zoloft is working for them.

Telling the flock they are at the happiest place on earth has to have an adverse effect when the hapless meeting attenders actually think to themselves; "Am I happy?" And they realize "No I'm not". I alway's thought Disneyworld was supposed to be the happiest place on earth. Where would you rather be? I was there at the "happiest place on earth", and I thought; "If this is the happiest place on earth, I'll take a dismally unhappy place like a dimly lit bar and good conversation instead, and wallow in my unhappiness.
