Hubby shot her, I field dressed her...Now 150 pounds of meat in the freezer!

I know this sounds shocking to some....But we are very close to the earth here. If you eat meat, think about where it comes from before you complain. Do you think chicken strips are made of strips? LOL

No, it came from a living squawking chicken! Hamburgers used to moo! That morning bacon is the underbelly of a cute pig!

I only shared the experience of the slaughter. LOL.....It was an experience....I still feel ill!

Yeah, that was always my theory.. aside from the vegetarians who do not eat meat, those who complain about hunting deer but also enjoy a good steak on their table... don't forget cows have beautiful brown eyes too..

My dad was a great hunter. He always got at least one or two deer each season. The meat fed our family of five.

I hate to see deer killed along the roadway. That makes me sad. As long as deer are killed to eat, then I have no problem with it. I have long ago lost my taste for deer meat. Guess I just had too much when I was growing up.

I don't eat meat it makes me sick. I never understood the sport of hunting. UGH Cow Bull Rooster Cow 3 Bull Pig 2 Pig The smell of slaughter is terrible. Growing up i lived near a slaughter house i felt sorry for those poor critters. Oh well each to his own.

Cha: The overpopulation leads to such painful and needless deaths of both deer and humans. I myself can't stomach the thought of it, my son always wanted to hunt and frankly we could have used the meat but I never let him. Thunder shot two when we were first married (cause we needed the food LOL) but he felt horrible and we just lived on Lentils after that in winter LOL

Cha; Not sure what that would be but I know the outcome of overpopulation disease and death and increased rates of Lyme disease

No we thought we found him the other day online. Looked so much like him, we went to the shelter but it was not Nic I didn't get the dog cause he HATED cats and we have three Maine Coons. He also was very aggressive. Funny he had the black spot on his tongue and the scar on his nose I was so sure and yes I left the shelter crying AGAIN
