My e-mail account has been compromised. As a result, I am no longer getting any e-mail or even junk mail ... so someone is re-directing all my e-mail. Also, some of my e-mail are missing, especially in certain sensitive files. So, I am permanently blocking all e-mail from all domains, and will change my e-mail address. I am shutting down this e-mail address, and will no longer publish my e-mail account except to certain people:

PLEASE ... AS OF THIS MOMENT, NO LONGER SEND ME ANY E-MAIL AT [email protected].

Who knows where it might end up! If you need to contact me, then please use the PM system on this board.

ahhhh....that is a hassle and stressful!!! I had that happen to a friend of mine.. what a mess! Hope you can get it all straightened out.

I have had a terrible problem for several days. It isn't my email, but I couldn't get on the internet for more than a few minutes, before the computer started making strange sounds like a loud fan. Smashy

I emailed to Simon who alerted me to the possible problem, directed me to a free download, to look for suspicious things, and it found 97 files that needed to be deleted, that were compromising my system. My CPU usage had been at 100% and it was miserable. Now it is 7% and all is well again.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. We do have to be careful, as really nothing "out there" is totally private. Just as someone can physically access our mail boxes at our home residence, they can do it on the internet. Guess this is just another case in point. I do appreciate have the PM here, which I think was an excellent addition to this site. (thanks Simon!)

What a pain in the a$$......Some people just have nothing better to do,but hack away at others private business..I believe someone else on board has gone through this simular situation...( petty....and I hope she got it straightened out as well..)

It is a invasion of your privacy and that suxs...Hope you get to the bottem of it....

Smart move to use the pm system while your e-mail is down...
