Wait a minute! I just watched this story unfold on a TV drama called The Walking Dead. Only now do I realize that the witnesses are the zombies! -

Someone said that we all used to feel this way, but that's not true. Thinking about capital p paradise always raised more questions than answers, and none of it looked promising. I remember one day out "preaching" aka driving around, when someone started estimating the jdub population compared to the existing total population of our county. The thought that all these people would be gone and you would be stuck with just the freaky ones in the borg was frightening. -

- Day 5. The nuclear power plant went into meltdown because all the worldly people who ran it were killed by Jehovah. The flesh on our body is burning off from the radiation. The brothers and sisters are walking around like zombies looking for someone who can help! We are looking to the elders for guidance but all they say is to "pray and read your bible more". Jehovah why have you forsaken us?

Hmmmmm....The scenario is vaguely reminiscent of the scenes from the 1994 Stephen King mini-series, "The Stand"---what happened after the "super-flu" got out of the laboratory, and only a few lucky ones were immune to the super-flu. Anyone remember that TV mini-series?

Two brothers had dragged the piano out of the hall and everyone was singing with such fervor, it brought tears to our eyes.
It brought tears to eyes because the group was surrounded by angels threatening, "SING JOYOUSLY TO JEHOVAH OR DIE!"

Sometimes humans just dont look past their own noses. I remember when hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans I was talking to an older sister & I said that Jehovah made sure all his people were at an assembly, she said to me "Don't ever say that, what about the ones in divided households who lost their children/parents/brothers/sisters etc, boy I felt ashamed. I was young & stupid just like this person. This is how the WTS teaches people to think. I was glad that sister corrected my thinking cause when the Boxing day tsunami happened I heard so many saying at least JDubs were o.k. Jehovah looked after them the ones on the ministry on higher ground survived I was able to say the same thing "Don't ever say that". This bloody Borg makes people callous & judgemental, selfish & heartless that's why the honest hearted ones are getting out. I think that that story shows the real sad condition that is the thinking of Jehovahs Witnesses.
