It must be a blessing in disguise being punted, kicked to the curb by the BOE. These men truly are ''wolves in sheep clothing''. Pardon the pun.

This is an example of how Christ CANNOT be involved in this organization. On such extreme practises, this must prove positive Christ cannot be involved, such unbiblical practises, procedures.!!!!!!

To (steve2) yes I approached the elders after being disfellowshipped for two years. I'm on my 3rd year of being df'd. Just this last year is when I started to try and get reinstated.

Thanks to all who replied. It is very encouraging and I wish I would of known about this page 3 years ago. If anyone cares to message me please feel free to do so. I have much to talk about and hope to hear more encouraging things.

To be honest! Upon finding out the truth about the GB and their control over JW's I no longer have the urgency nor the want to return.

But my wife is an active witness and I want to do it for her. But at least now I won't be so blind!

My wife is truly a blessing! She has been the only there for me, defending me and always by my side.

My wife and I married while I was df'd. She has had her doubts about the organization to and we have discussed many of them.

But when I stated to do research I was surprised to how bad it actually was. A lot of things started to make sense.

You may ask " why is your wife not df'd and my answer is this My wife was a witness before I met her and is a witness to this day. According to the secret handbook of the elders if one is to show genuine repentance on such an occasion than cencorship is enough.

But its only based on the basis of the judicial comitte agreeing that she was repentant. Not based on holy spirit. So my wife was stripped of all her privledges except field service.

So sorry to hear you have been hurt. It's tough being kicked to the curb. I had it done by one of my closest family members. It sucks.

You have received some great advise on here. It's an eye opening experience to realize there is NO holy spirit and these guys just want power over you. It's a Mother may I game, getting reinstated. We had a family member DF'd for 2 years and she practically had to grovel to get reinstated.

Keep reading COC and learning what is behind the ugly curtain. This has been a great site for me. I don't feel all alone and it reassures me that I am not the only one feeling the way I do.

    Keep us posted.

Welcome Pandx - So sorry to hear of your distressing treatment. Perhaps once you start researching some our topics here, you'll be so glad not to have been reinstated. Keep digging, and help your wife to see what's going on.

    Don't play their games.

The only power they have over you, is that which you allow them to have.
