I'm sorry to hear this Scott. My grandfather died in his sleep (cerebral hemorrage) but he was only 57. I'm such a coward that this was the way I always wanted to go, it seems rather peaceful.
But still, as you say, that doesn't make it any easier for those left behind. Was he your paternal or maternal grandfather?
