Was it not named after the orignal team owner, Paul Brown or someything like that. Anyway we might bug you Brown fans but its all in fun.

Yep, the team was named after Paul Brown.
Too bad more teams were't named after owners. Just think - we'd have the Oakland Davis's, the Baltimore Modells, the Atlanta Blanks, the Detroit Fords, and the Minnesota McCombs. Of course, I'm going by current owners and not those who founded the teams.
