Merry Christmas from the Frozen Tundra (page 2)

It was truly a wonderful Christmas day. For those who know me you would have laughed your asses off at the disorganization of the timing of the whole dinner thing. The prime rib wasn't getting done-actually it was my meat thermometer that wasn't working right as it turns out, so dinner was 1 1/2 hours late. In the meantime everyone is playing cards as I'm getting things ready in the kitchen and my bro-in law is keeping me company. I had this nagging feeling (through the Tom & Jerry's) that something was missing. OMG- the potatoes !!!!!! How does an irish person forget the potatoes? We got them peeled and cut thinly and it all turned out well.

And for Lauralisa---LOL--- thank you for your help with the "phone a friend" question. This was the question:

A good time was had by all and if I had my wish for each Christmas until I die it would be that everyone could have a family Christmas that I've always had. It makes me sad for those who can't because of things beyond their control.
