Contemplative.....sitting here wondering just how large a pair of feet can swell before actually bursting. I'm a small person and it looks like I have somebody else's feet grafted onto my legs (37th week of pregnancy, BTW)
Deep satisfaction.....my husband and I are poor this year, but managed to get very nice things at the cheaper stores for good prices. We stayed well within our budget, even helping out a little relative whose grandmom (she's raising him) had no money to buy him anything for Christmas. He was born a crack baby, and is the sweetest, most well-behaved, most polite kid you've ever met.
Deep satisfaction.....also because my inlaws are such great people and I enjoyed my day with them just as much as I enjoyed the presents. Nobody got anything big or expensive, but that's not what the season is about.
Reminiscent.....because of one of the CD's my husband got me for a present. It's one of the albums I grew up listening to as a kid (Dolly Parton's "Coat of Many Colors") and listening to the songs for the first time in almost 20 yrs really took me back--to happier times with my (blood kin) family.
