JWs extenuate pride in their cultural diversification, its not nationalism, for example wearing their traditional dress is practically encouraged.

Cultural diversification is a form national diversification which is a form of nationalism or pride of national origin. Same as celebrating a persons birthday is a form of glorifying the person. In jw-ism, close is the same a spot on !

All those cultural show off are a communist twist to the sect. One brother hood, all are the same only the white elite are much the same.
It is to compare with socialist and communist past.

Are cultural traditions the same as nationalism ?

Good question, Finkelstein. With so many people from many different countries coming to the US, UK, Australia. etc., can there be a national cultural traditions, but many within the same country.
Even countries like Nigeria have many tribes making up the nation, with varying and different cultural traditions (even led to a civil war many years back).
Do cultural traditions = nationalism?
I don't think so. What happens to cultural traditions that are not shared by all living under the same government? Are they dropped, made to seem less necessary or even need to be dropped? Or does it divide people who are seemingly different from other people? (Not much different than the WTS trying to get members to drop their cultural traditions, to make everyone unified)
Is viewing murder as wrong and punishable by the larger community under laws, a cultural tradition? Is it a cultural tradition/local view in just one country (national group)?
I try to remember, that regardless of what artificial borders that have been set up, we are all affected by what happens on this planet. There are many events don't care about artificial borders, migrations of animals, weather patterns such as hurricanes or typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis, polluted air (it was announced not long ago that there were no longer any locations without polluted air), radiation (Chernobyl e.g.), forest fires, floods, economic events, and so on.
I don't want to debate with others regarding whether I am right or wrong, or partly right or partly wrong. I would rather use my energy to try and find ways to work together with those in my community to make it a good place for all of us.
Me on my soap box again.

Whoa! I didn't say cultural diversity/tradition is equal to nationalism! I said it's a form of nationalism. Yes a relatively remote form, but still!

Gorbatchov:
It is for the photo ops.
showing up in Berlin with"sow-prussian*" Bavarian Lederhosen and Dirndl dresses (with obligatory modesty panel on top) is a good caricature of German tribalism identity. ha ha.
* "saupreussen" a favoured south german/ austrian term for anybody more than 50 km north & east of Munich with it's Hofbraeukeller fame.

Actually, traditional garments vary from one region to another in Germany and Austria and Switzerland.
