The entire governing body will do the "Perp-Walk" in handcuffs on CNN regarding certain charges related to cover-ups of sexual abuse.

Hell... a guy can dream can't he?

GB members will be non-anointed, elders will be performing more microphone duty, all you'll need is 10 minutes per month to be "regular", "pioneering" will be discontinued, dedication vows will need to be signed, tithing will be Scripturally suggested.

    Min,

Luv your term "New Lite." I want to see a tagline after it, like "Now with 50% less rational thought."

I wish for at least one person that I knew and respected to come to their senses and come out of the org.

Elsewhere said- the governing body will do the "Perp-Walk" in handcuffs on CNN regarding certain charges related to cover-ups of sexual abuse. This cracks me up.

I predict that they will cook the books some more to show more activity and a marginal growth.

We will see fewer kingdom halls that will be explained as ?reorganization?.

I would like to see another documentary or two on cover-ups. Might happen, might not.

Another trial would be nice, and maybe a good public loss.

More new light, got to love it. Maybe on mandatory donations or respecting all elders.

What will happen- business as usual.

I don't know what will happen to them, if it be this year or the years to follow, but the WTBTS will "Reap What They Sow", like all humankind, myself included.

They're hatred of they're own people in congregations, such as myself, the emotinal and sexual abuse, all of that will catch the attention of someone sometime, and they will pay.

What country this will happen in first would be interesting to say the least.

How's this? "NEW LITE----LESS FILLING!".......That just about describes all the pronouncements coming out of the Faithful & Discreet Slave Class.

    I predict:

    1. The WT will lose at least 95% of the pending child abuse cases against them which are tried this year.

    2. Assets the WT has hidden will be found and levied upon.

    3. The manner the WT uses to transfer assets abroad will be exposed.

    4. Legal repercussions will include elders of incorporated congregations being held jointly liable - in tandem with the GB.

    5. In addition to facing jail time, these elders and members of the GB will be sued personally in civil court and will lose.

    6. The physical Kingdom Halls of congregations affected will go up for auction to pay liability costs.

    7. Troubles which affect members at the local level (such as elders being sued and the loss of KHs) will cause entire congregations to seek more information into the events leading up to these legal decisions.

    8. Discovering "the truth" behind the silentlambs cases will cause dramatic drops in WT membership, especially in western nations.

    9. The publicity and loss of members will embolden the GB to forbid it's members from watching TV, and reading newspapers, magazines or books which are not sanctioned by the WT. They will also institute a complete ban on internet use.

    10. The WT will all but give up on evangelising western nations, and will focus instead on third world nations whose people are far less educated and are therefore, more easily manipulated.

    11. Because of the fallout of these cases, many who post on this board today will see loved ones leave the WT.

"Star light, star bright, the first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, to get the wish I wish tonight."

I don't think child-abuse issues will rock the Tower. People are funny. Most don't even want to believe that such things happen in God's organization. When given proof, the evidence becomes demonized. If the UN debacle didn't bring them down-----isolated child abuse issues certainly won't.
