SEX talks at the sunday meetings

The last little while there have been many talks on sex at the Sunday meetings. It is sickening! They are very explicit in nature.

Don't they realize that there are many children in the audience that are not really ready to hear this particular information?

I don't understand the mentality. With one breath they preach to stay away from immoral movies and books and music video and with another breath some will go into very explicit details of what these materials say.

I walked out of one of these talks not too long ago.

Do some of these brothers get a high or are they just perverts?

You'll notice that all the brothers will suddenly need to have a bible or watchtower out on their lap durring these talks. They also need a few extra seconds to stand for the ending song and prayer.

I never noticed that. In fact I never found one of these talks to be the least bit arousing.

I've occasionally heard a talk include a brief definition of porneia. I really don't see what the big deal is.

I am also one who had to sit through a couple of talks dealing with sexual matters...and they weren't arousing in the least way. Well, I guess you can call the uncomfortable silence after the meeting between men & women as a form of recognition that it worked! :|

Besides, they have to have interesting subjects occasionally to keep people awake and/or titillated.

Also, let's not forget how evil sex is - even if we have to describe it in its infinite evilness!
