I got a phone call yesterday evening from a very sweet 81-year-old former JW who got my phone number from Ray Franz. She really would like some people like us to talk to but doesn't have a computer. We had a lovely chat, and she gave me her phone number and said I could give it out because she'd love to hear from some other ex-JWs. If anyone would like to call her, please PM me and I'll give you her name and phone number. She still has family "in the truth" so is understandably very lonely. Her daughter who is married to an elder at one point flat out refused to take care of her -- you know, the usual example of "love" -- and she had to go to another relative for a while. She was baptized in 1969 in Oklahoma.
