It really should have been more. The military is carrying an even more heavy load than when I was on active duty. You guys have earned every penny of it.

I think you guys deserve it, and frankly more. I would much rather see my tax dollars spent on salary for y'all than buying another wrench for the Pentagon or funding a study on the mating habits of slugs.
