I remember that some years ago there was a message with information about Watchtower, was owner of Home Depot, and sold it.
Question: was this true? Can’t find any info at Google.
Do you know more about it?

Uhm... false. Home depot was founded by arther blank (and some other people i believe). He owns the atlanta falcons nfl team. The org may have owned stock or one of the partners may have been a witness or something along those lines but the chain wasnt started by the borg nor ever owned by them
I've been told that Jws invented the first dishwasher and that they had more cranes than any other company in the world. False!
Funny how they don't take credit for a 140 year snipe hunt for the "end of this system".
False. They wish. Compared to the rest of the universe of religious organizations, the WT is an insignificant minuscule dot.
When I was in the cult, I was told that WT invented the multi Language Translation device to translate its Magazines into numerous languages and IBM was constantly bargaining with the WT to buy it.
This was in the year 2000.
EverApostate: Actually around 1980 there was a hush hush project worked
on when I was at Crooklyn working on a project. They reportedly did a
dog and pony video show about MEPS for IBM. Later I was told there was a deal made with IBM to supply equipment in exchange for licensing of MEPS. After all these years I can't remember the 'heavies' involved.
Bear in mind meps didnt translate. It was a digital typesetting system. Rumor was ibm wanted to buy it and the borg said no... true or not i have no idea

JWs are actually the third or fourth most significant Christian group on the planet. Not so minuscule actually.
Witnesses boast about everything - recall an elder's wife raving in the early 90s about the society owning a couple of their very own cranes -- they use the phrase, "we," when referring to the cult as if they've a percentage of the ownership. I couldn't believe.
W/T didn't own Home Depot. I've friends here from Florida that know the owner of Home Depot - they were all members of the same country club.
Interesting "third or fourth most significant Christian group on the planet," maybe so/WOW! I recall hearing past years they were the fastest growing religion -- and I found all that difficult to believe but maybe some cities with the huge influx of illegals.
