Mkay. My post got deleted, b/c it had a naughty word in it. It wasn't a nice word... but it rymed with truck.

So did my followup. I think someone (Englishman?) just didn't like the word. I'm cool with that, though I have seen it in other posts, literal or purposefully mispelled. Even purposefully mispelled, people still read it literally. I was just interjecting a little humour by pointing out that it is quite versatile, with many connotations. It would be a shame to delete it from spoken language. Some people would be at a loss for words (not me, mind you!) Ozzy Osbourne would be forced to sit silently (as would Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor!)

'Baby's Daddy'. I'm sick of that word. What's wrong with saying 'the chld of my father, or 'my child's father.'?

I'd like to see "Mannugget", "Pootie", and "Beermuffs" emerge in our lexicon.

    Ruby:

It's BEBBY's DEDDY. And if you watch popular daytime talk show television, that is NOT your Significant Other, it's JUST your Bebby's Deddy. Nothing important .. just that. Oh yah.. and BABY MAMMA. Not to be confused with the persont hat you are recently hookin horns with, which is YO MAN, which you will defend against all the other BEBBY MAMMAS if he decided to spend a significant amount of time with you after he impregnated you, but with whom you would join with if he goes and finds another woman.

God FORBID that anyone married someone and THEN had a BEBBY DADDY.

RubyFlame, you took the words right out of my mouth. Along those same lines, I suggest that Ebonics be outlawed and the use thereof be punishible by a fine and or imprisonment, up to but not to exceed $500.00 and life times 2.

maybe we should ban the word 'freedom' seeing that nobody actually has any, and that its used to manipulate the way people think.

    Agreed.

I hate it "know-what-I'm-sayin'" when every other word "know-what-I'm sayin'" starts with "know-what-I'm sayin'". Do you know what I'm sayin'?
