What I find funny is that you people claim to know anything. The evidence is biased in all directions. If you take the scriptures and quote them against each other, then there are only three options:

1. One of you two are misinterpreting the quote.

2. The text is screwed by punctuation errors, or improper translation.

or,

3. The bible is in direct contradiction with itself making it mathematically false.

Which is more likely?

Why not just say that those quotes are notable as well as your own and that there is no definitive explanation for the mess and that there is no sure answer.

Much better than

"jesus is god. See Baal. 6:18." or

"jesus is not god. Check out Satan 2:46."or

"jesus was only a magician. See some rabbi."

Bravo!! Until time travel is invented and we can actually travel back in the past to ask the authors just what they meant, every interpretation is pie in the sky guesswork, regardless of the amount of actual knowledge of the ancient languages a person may have.

IMHO, if we were to take any modern version of the Bible back in time and show it to the ancient authors, they would be appalled and disgusted at how their words have been convoluted, torn apart, mistranslated, and taken out of context.

Certainly the dub effects are a heavy burden to bear for those who have been influenced by it ...

lol, i actually don't believe that you've studied james for 12 years. i've studied the bible for about 6 months. and the biggest thing i got out of james was James 2:15-17 where it says that faith without works is dead (in itself). every JW (sounds like you) are trying to use this completely out of context, and its funny. just read the whole book again without any WT material and lets see where you end up.
