issues Here's the great difference...the Catholic Church is NOT excommunicating the victims that go to the law or the press.
no we just lock them up in institutions in ireland .
look I cant call religions for what they decide to do - fair enough . but as for paedophiles I'd have them all shot no worries - preferably after being castrated without anaesthetic.

It would be wonderful if a person could decide ..hey I'm gonna get over it. It sure would be a great world to live in.
We would have no wars, peace in the MiddleEast, no more ethnic cleansing, divorce rates would plummet because now abused or cheated mates would simply get over it.
Walking away from something you learn is a sham is difficult if you have devoted a large part of your life to it but can be accomplished.
It gets harder to walk away when people you love are still in its grip.
What have you loved and been willing to give up in your life with a simple decision?
Your family?
All your current friends?
We do tend to get overly irate at times.
Maybe you can write a letter to the Watchtower Society and tell them to get over it as well!
Tell them to get over the whole idea that all who simply want to leave are controlled by Satan and should be avoided not even eating with them under penalty of expulsion.
You may not mean to sound smug but when you come onto a support forum and tell people to get over it without doing more than a days worth of reading that's how it comes across.

Everybody please watch out for the following computer viruses ...
The Manchester United Virus ... This is where your PC thinks its far superior than any other PC and develops a memory disorder, forgetting anything that happened before 1993.
The David Beckham Virus ... This affects newer PC's mainly. The computer looks great, all the lights are on, but nothing works.
The Roy Keane Virus ... This one is particularly nasty and will throw you out of Windows ...
The Alex Ferguson Virus ... The computer develops a continuous whining noise and the on screen clock runs a lot faster or slower (depending on how your day's been), than all the other computers in the building.
The Tim Howard Virus .... This one's not particularly harmful – but you just can't save anything and it is prone to foul language suddenly appearing on your screen
The Neville Bros. Virus ..... Just when you think things can't get any worse, this one pops up and causes a calamitous error.
The Ryan Giggs Virus ... The computer develops a processor problem, whereby it thinks it's better than it actually is. It also experiences dramatic fluctuation in performance.
The Luke Chadwick Virus .... This is a particularly ugly one.
The Paul Scholes Virus . . . which works fine for the European market, but somehow fails to perform in Japan.
The Rio Ferdinand Virus….. Particularly difficult to trace as it is a hard one to test for and screws up the memory
The Manchester United Shirt Virus... This one is especially hard to detect as it changes its format every 3 months -

it seems to me that on here there are some who are taking advantage of those who simply want to leave filling their heads with even more unecessary junk - I would be very wary of these individuals because they are the sort who will try and get people to believe what they believe ,preying on the weaker .
I've seen some asking for money -dont give money - mugs game!,
some who just seem to hate them because they wasted their lives with things they dont believe now- just get on with your life and stop wasting even more of it on the subject?fine if you need "support" or whatever but after that look to the future theres lots of things you can do with your life - some will be a waste of time even terrible but you dont know if you dont try and you cant wrap yourself up in cotton wool so go ahead take risks have fun.
some who have genuine reasons to hate individuals in this religion because of abuse.I hope those that did this get their comeupance - but please dont be fooled into thinking the abuse is anything to do with a specific religion - child abuse is everywhere - keep your kids safe!
