You’re welcome. My only other recommendation is that, if you don’t want your family to find out about it, definitely publish under a pseudonym. Otherwise I can guarantee someone will find the book and connect it to you eventually.

Oh if only there were a place we could go to go for answers. LOL !
You'd definitely need to consult an attorney but I'm guessing some sort of disclaimer at the beginning would be necessary.
Or maybe you could just name the religion in your story something suspiciously close to Jehovah's Witnesses.

Armageddon Watchers
Witnesses of his holiness
Watchtower's Witnesses
Latter Day Witnesses

The name of the fictional religion I have right now is: The Kingdom of Truth. And the Watchtower is called The Shepherd. Ministerial servants are elder assistants. That's about the only differences.
Armageddon Watchers...LOL made me laugh out loud.
I'll have to do research on what an official disclaimer would look like for this.
