I thought it was a hint for "Hey, wanna go out some time?"
At least that's how I'd use it.
Toping in itself is not necessarily a bad thing thoughEnlighten me, Syrup, I myself have never toped, how does one go about it?Cuz if I'm missing out on something good, I'd like to know!!! I've heard of schtuping, is that similar?
Here Maybes:
It was definitely a protest by Farkel about the "fluff" content here. He was lamenting that factual posts and articles requiring much research and hard work scarcely got an airing, while the birthday, Jedi promotion and pop survey threads tended to fragment into multi-page affairs, IIRC.
FWIW, I've been experimenting with pizzas lately, making them from scratch, using dough with real yeast, etc. While I like to have a pizza with piles of different toppings, like artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, salami, ham and so on, my most successful topping experiment to date was simply of sliced mushrooms that had been lightly sauteed with garlic and a splash of red wine vinegar for some acidity - it was a great pizza - even the boys liked it!
Stephanus,
Put a little oregano and put some parmeson into your dough. You'll freak! (Yes, I make mine from scratch, too!)
I do love a boy who can cook ;)

Now, now, Shamus - let's not "run ahead of Jehovah" here! LOL I'm still mastering toppings.
That idea sounds great too, btw. Are they added at the dry ingredient stage or kneaded into the dough later?
I knead it in after it has risen. Trust me, you'll love it! Put in about 1/4 cup of parmeson and just a dash of oregano, if you enjoy oregano. It makes the crust that much more good!
Its a saying, used to complain about threads like this one
Oregano is good, as is Marjoram. A little Basil can be nice, if not overdone, coz it has a powerful licorice taste.
I like to throw in a little crushed Chilli, too.
(When I was a kid, my dad turned down a managerial post in one of the first British Pizza chains, to "further kingdom interests")
