I'm a sucker for an ill-fated love story:

Empire of the Sun, Directed by S. Spielberg. Christian Bale's major movie premiere at 13. His character is a Japanese prisoner of war separated from his parents. Based on a true story by J. Ballard. The prison camp has an airfield that the prisoners slaved to build. The U.S. comes to bomb the field and "Jaimie" snaps. His statement at the end of the scene is gut wrenching, especially after you've seen his journey to this point. (the planes are radio controlled models.)

I hated Sophie´s Choice... I thought it was one of the most boring movies I had ever seen.

I'm a sucker for chic flicks. The last scene in "You got Mail" always gets me.

Every time I watch this on You Tube I don't know whether to 'laugh' or 'cry'.
I was 11 when this came out and we watched it at our book study group. Those were the days!

I am afraid being to long time a full-time slave kills your emotions, so it is not something that makes me cry, but touches me deeply because of the beauty:
Last episode of Inspector Morse,The remorseful day when he knows he is very ill and recites a poem from Housman for his asistent Lewis:

No movie has ever made me cry half as hard as Pixar's Coco. It is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen and is my new favorite, shattering the 30-year streak held by Jim Henson's Labyrinth.
