I am planning on getting 3 (three) more tattoos.
In case you missed it, I'm hoping to get 2 tattoos: one on both forearms (underside, non-hairy), dragonfly and preying mantis (North American versions).
I will get a Monarch butterfly on my shoulder (right side, as there's a ladybug there).
Honestly, I love body art, and Valis, has more tattoos than there are lakes in Canada.
Let's see what SheilaM comes up with, and if it's what I like, I'll have it on my arm within the next couple of months, if not sooner.
Later,
Bzzzzz....I know that sound, very well....
Hiya Valis,
I love those fish, are they hard to take care of? I always heard fish like that mucked up the water quite a bit.
Moors are just pudgy goldfish with big eyes, and they're as easy to care for as other goldfish. And, yes, just as dirty.
Guppies are pretty undemanding fish until they get pregnant. They give birth to live young, and if a fry gets stuck in the birth canal you'd better be standing by with... I dunno, a tweezers, I think. I once had a pregant guppy die because I was at the KH when she started having trouble. If they survive the birth, you need to have plenty of plants in the tank for the babies to hide in, or the parents will eat them.
I generally didn't keep multiple members of the same species in one tank, so I didn't have population problems. Tetras and danios are pretty hardy, but danios tend to make suicide leaps when you put them in a holding tank to clean the aquarium. They are hardy enough to be good starter fish for a new aquarium, though.
Here's a couple of zebra danio - they're actually tiny fish; I've never seen one more than 2 inches long.
Here's another popular and inexpensive species, the neon tetra.Yes, the colors really are that bright, and the blue glow is actually internal; the flesh appears to be transparent. I just ran across a web page that says tetras and danios do not do well together, but I never had any problem.
